3D Reconstruction Framework

I’m excited to present a section dedicated to introducing a special framework I’ve developed. Through exhaustive study and research into various three-dimensional reconstruction methods, I’ve devised a special approach aimed at elevating the quality and precision of outputs within the realm of three-dimensional reconstruction.

This framework is meticulously designed to enhance every stage of the three-dimensional reconstruction process. It begins with a meticulous assessment of image sharpness utilizing Laplacian variance. Images are then subjected to a sharpening process as deemed necessary. Additionally, employing combined Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), we enhance the overall quality of the images, ensuring exceptional fidelity.

Efficiency is further enhanced in subsequent stages through background removal from the images, subsequently leveraging these enhanced images for feature extraction. A sophisticated fusion of deep learning techniques and the Scale-Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) model ensures not only enhanced accuracy but also maintains optimal precision throughout the process.

Moving forward, the framework seamlessly integrates Structure from Motion (SfM) and Multi-View Stereo (MVS) techniques to generate comprehensive point clouds, capturing intricate spatial details with remarkable precision. The effectiveness of this method has been thoroughly assessed in my thesis research, with a concise summary of findings presented within the comprehensive framework diagram.
